All About Us

Relate & Grow was created as a division of Pro Health Care Services in 2008 as a response to the need in central Ohio for early intervention that is nurturing, developmental, individualized, relationship based and affordable. Our program has been designed with all of these needs in mind. We train families and caregivers in providing early intensive intervention to their child at home and in other natural settings. We provide education, support and empowerment to families that are often confused and saddened by their child’s needs. We help them to understand that they don’t have to wait for someone else to help their child, that there is much that they themselves can do and that with the right tools and support, their child’s future may not be determined by their current difficulties or diagnosis.

Our Philosophy:
We believe that children are humanity’s most valuable asset. We believe that all children have unique needs as well as unique strengths to be nurtured and developed. We believe that children depend on us to guide them and help them grow, therefore it is our duty not only as parents but as a society to provide all children with the opportunity to reach their full potential; it is our responsibility to do what is best for each and every child so that they will grow up to be happy, contributing and healthy adults. We believe that children with special needs can have as fulfilling of a life as any other child. We believe and have seen the wonderful outcomes of the right kind of early intervention and assessment. We believe that a child’s family or caregiver is their best advocate. We believe in empowering and training families and caregivers to be the best advocate they can be for their children. We believe that families can provide the best quality of intervention for their child through therapy that is individualized, supportive and relationship-enriching. We believe that a “label” is nothing more than a name for a specific set of symptoms and that it does not necessarily lead to a specific outcome. We believe that treating symptoms is not enough, and that it is most important to remediate developmental gaps. We believe that some diagnoses, such as Autism, if treated early can be outgrown.
